Ehh this was my myspace blog.. I share.. I was reading something the other day that really just didn't sit well with me, it was a article that first of all had a person that took them selves way to seriously, I cant stand people that have delusions of grandeur. But, as I read on it really just pissed me off it refereed to advice on dating as “economic principles of supply and demand.”

So that got me to thinking .. are WE putting ourselves “on the market?” This analogy for dating, where female commodities meet male demands, is distorted. Being bold enough to initiate conversation or return a phone call is where real confidence is demonstrated, and where the kind of respect and honesty that makes relationships work is begun. If we truly are “happy, busy, and content with [our] lives” then we a) should not need therapists, b) should have a life just as busy as his, and c) should not have to worry about talking too much, since conversation does more than fill awkward pauses with idle banter

Furthermore, the kind of guy who goes for a girl who pays for her own meals on occasion — or at least offers to — and returns phone calls is not the kind of guy who is only looking for “a nice rack.” In fact, I would argue that if you are sharing in some of the expenses that make a relationship fun, then he will appreciate you for more than your physical endowments and in return respect you for your self-sufficiency.

what happened to the men that appreciate the feminine mystique ??? *grins and nods*

the problem w/ men in society today is they don't know any better. We already know that most of them think w/ the head between their legs, so asking them to actually use the one on their shoulders, yeah .. not gonna happen so easily.

and most men can't handle a woman who challenges them. Plain and simple.. if there is any chance that she is a bitch, most run w/ their tails between their legs
